I know I've mentioned it before that I use the subway to commute to work everyday and I like to listen to music on my way into the office, but hearing anything down there is somewhat tough because of all the noise from the people and well the subway itself. I've been using the buds that came with my iPod and well they aren't that great, my husband makes fun of me all the time because I'm using those awful ear buds. Things are now about to change and I know he's going to want to use my headphones now because I'm sporting Tracks HD headphones from Sol Republic.

These are really nice, a lot different from what I'm used to using, I'm accustomed to trying to keep cheap ear buds in my ear (they fall out constantly) and when they do stay in I have to put my hands over my ears to help me hear what I'm listening to! The Tracks HD are over your head headphones so no more worries about them popping out, and if you're worried about comfort....stop worrying! 


The Tracks headphone are comfortable, the headband has a pad right in the middle so while it's on your head instead of the band digging into your head you have a nice cushion that keeps your noggin comfortable, the ear cups are super comfortable too and they actually help block out exterior sound so I'm able to hear my music while the subway is wooshing along making a racket. 
 
And another great option is that fact that you can customize these puppies in a variety of colors for both the headband and the cables that go into your listening device. I have blue which is a very pretty color of blue, but if blue isn't your thing some of the other colors available are black, white, red, yellow, purple, pink and neon yellow to name a few and the cords come in a variety of colors as well to match the headbands. Looks are feel are great but what does that all mean if the sound stinks? Well the sound on the Tracks HD are wonderful, the bass is deep but not so deep that all you hear is THUMP-THUMP-THUMP. They're very clear and the vocals come through so crisp and rich is feels like you're having a personal concert with the artist right in front of you! 

My husband who is a bit of an audiophile wore these to test them out and he was blown away, he's using $300.00+ in ear headphones that he loves and he was amazed that the Tracks HD kept up with his buds step for step. I'm still in the process of burning the headphones (something I learned from my hubby) so in a few weeks from now the already rich sound will be that much more richer and smooth.
