My Review:

A few weeks back we treated everyone to a delicious ham dinner and it was all due to a ham from Petit Jean. everyone raved about the ham and just how flavorful and juicy it was and it was good, it was so good that I don’t believe we had any leftovers! Ham is just one of the many delicious pork products Petit Jean offers one of the coolest things they offer is a bacon sampler. 

Now we have always been fans of this great meat, often described as “Meat Candy” that is a funny description but it is true. With bacon you can just eat it and eat it like candy. I cooked up each type of bacon, the smell of the bacon in our house woke up my husband and had him standing in the kitchen plate in hand waiting for his share. 

 I cooked up several slices and before I knew it we had none left, between my husband and daughter they wiped out close to a half pound of bacon! The bacon cooked up nice and crispy, we like it a little crispy and the Hickory Smoked Peppered Bacon stole the show, the pepper flavor added another layer of depth to the bacon and just made the bacon shine.

 Their Hickory Smoked Thick-Sliced Bacon  is simply amazing; I enjoy thicker cut bacon because it has body to it and when it’s cooked all nice and crispy it’s just off the charts good! The Hickory Smoked Bacon is a classic style bacon that is delicious, it has a great taste dad will love.  If you are looking for a great gift for dad for this father’s day, why not skip the boring gifts that just end up in a drawer, or hidden in the closet.
