I love cheesecake.
I love eating them, baking them and talking about them. I’ve been afforded the
pleasure of trying several decadent cheesecakes from the aptly named Decadence Cheesecakes. These tiny
little masterpieces are amazing, they are delicious and yes they truly are
decadent. And the best thing is they’re just large enough to enjoy and not feel
guilty about eating too much, they are the perfect size. They come packed
in a little mason jar which is a really neat package option, it’s clever and
unique and if given to someone as a gift looks good.
I was able to try 6 flavors: German Chocolate Cheesecake, Boardwalk,
Red Velvet, Pumpkin Decadence, Irish
Dream, and Savory Sun-Dried Tomato. Each is filled with wonderful flavors the jars, may be small
but they pack a great flavor punch. The flavors of the cheesecakes are easy to
identify, besides being each individually marked, they taste just like their
name so you are always sure of what you are enjoying. The cheesecakes were packed very well, and
came is great shape, ready to eat. You can refrigerate the cheesecakes for up
to 7 days, but I am sure they will not last that long in the house.
The sweet classic cheesecakes, German Chocolate Cheesecake
this was a divine chocolate flavor a light chocolate cheesecake with just the
right amount of coconut. This was rich and smooth this was one of my daughters
favorite cheesecakes ever.
Next up is the Boardwalk, now this is the most unique cheesecake I have
ever had in my life… Sure I have had my share of salt water taffy, it is a
summer staple at the Jersey Shore and I have had plenty each summer. Now salt
water taffy on cheesecake? That is not something you hear of everyday! This was
simply amazing, the peanut butter flavor and the gentle salt water taffy flavor
was unique and amazing… I could have eaten jars and jars of this.. Luckily for
my waistline there was only one jar… but I will be buying this again it was
amazing!
Red Velvet This is a must have! If you love the cake like I
do, the cheesecake favor of red velvet is that much better, Pumpkin Decadence this was like the holidays
in a jar, the rich and spicy flavor just brought me right back to Thanksgiving
it was just comfort food for me.
Irish Dream the
right balance of white chocolate and Baileys flavor not overly alcohol tasting,
this was my husband’s favorite, it was divine he barely gave me a chance to try
it, he loved it so much and it was gone before I knew it. For what I tried it
had a great Baileys flavor that reminded me of the drink.
I had some friends over the other
night and I served mini appetizers with the Savory Sun-Dried Tomato spread.
We spread it on crackers, yes that is basic but it made the crackers seem much
more fancy. The taste was amazing, like a great cream cheese spread. I know
what you may be thinking a savory cheese cake? It really works, and it is delicious,
believe me.
I must say I was thoroughly impressed with Decadence Gourmet
Cheesecakes. Right off the bat looking at how they were packed I knew I was in
for something good. Looks can be deceiving but not this time they tasted as
good as they looked. Kudos on baking what is possibly the best cheesecakes in
the known universe. There are an amazing amount of flavors, some that you may
never have thought of from Chocolate Chai to Blackberry/Cabernet, they are all
made with love and you will simply adore them.
