Sadaf Grapeseed Oil, ideal for cooking and salads

Do you love to cook? Are you always looking for a healthier way to eat? How about a healthier way to cook? Well a great oil is always a must in the kitchen, and I would like to introduce you to a new oil (well new to me) Sadaf Grapeseed Oil. Here is a little more information about the oil from the website:

Sadaf Foods  a leader in healthy Mediterranean, Kosher and Specialty Foods, who just launched a 100% pure Grapeseed Oil, which offers a healthy alternative ingredient to use in your holiday cooking, frying and baking. The perfect ingredient for those looking for a nutritious and delicious alternative to butter or margarine, Grapeseed Oil retains the original flavor of food and leaves no after taste, permitting the full flavor of the dish to be appreciated. Containing no cholesterol or transfat, this product is loaded with Vitamin E and offers an excellent source of antioxidants.

I was very fortunate to be able to try out this great oil.  Pure Sadaf Grapeseed oil one of the healthiest oils around. It is ideal for cooking and salads. I cooked up a little stir fry of sorts with veggies, garlic and the grapeseed oil as our dinner last night. It was delicious. The oil was light, and not heavy very flavorful.  $12.95 for the large 2 Liter size, is a great prize for oil. I have paid $10.00 for the small bottles in my supermarket. So $12.95 is a great value.

It would be nice if it had a spout for pouring easier, just because of the size of the bottle, a spout would make it a little easier. But the bottle is not a thick and heavy glass, so it is easier to handle.

Here is a great recipe from the Sadaf Foods website:

Vegetable StuffedMushrooms

Ingredients (servings 4):
Savory vegetarian delight

  • 12 large mushrooms, washed and dried, stems reserved
  • 4 Tablespoons Sadaf Grapeseed Oil
  • 5 cups Assorted minced Vegetables/Herbs (spinach, green onion, celery, garlic, Italian parsley and reserved mushroom stems)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Egg Beaters® or 2 egg white
  • 2 Tablespoons Seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon parmesan cheese
  • gorgonzola cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat 3 Tablespoons of Sadaf Grapeseed Oil in large skillet. Saute minced vegetables/herbs for 3-4 minutes until fragrant and the liquid from the vegetables evaporated. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients except gorgonzola. Brush mushroom caps with remaining 1 Tablespoon oil and stuff with vegetable mixture. Top with gorgonzola cheese and place in lightly oiled baking pan or cookie sheet and bake for 17-25 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and stuffing is golden brown.
Yield: 12 mushrooms

Doesn’t that look and sound amazing! I cannot wait to shop for the necessary items and make this , I will be sure to let you know how this recipe is when I make it.

This oil is great  for cooking purposes and works very well in salads and with veggies. So if you are looking for an affordable great tasting oil that will work wonderfully with our recipes, make sure to check out Sadaf Grapeseed Oil, you will love it!
