My daughter just loves My little
Pet Shop, she has been collecting the cute little critters for a while now and
she had quite an army of adorable animal characters. She loves to imagine that she is the owner and
manager of the pet shop, it is too cute. So when she heard that she would
be able to hold a little party for her friends to watch the new show, she just
was giddy with excitement. So she called
a few of her school friends and we invited them over for a little get together last
weekend to watch the new show!
Premiering on The Hub TV Network on Saturday, November 10th
at 11am ET/8am PT, "Littlest Pet Shop" introduces girls to young
Blythe Baxter who moves to a big city apartment with her dad above the Littlest
Pet Shop - an amazing day-camp for pets of all kinds including a panda, gecko,
and even a mongoose. But the real adventure begins
when Blythe discovers she can miraculously talk with the animals!
The pets may be small, but their big personalities often
lead to uproarious pop music-inspired song and dance sequences. The
animated half-hour comedy series is produced by Hasbro Studios."
I had cookies and chocolate
popcorn (this is so very easy to make all you need is a bag of popcorn and a
bag of chocolate chips, just pop the popcorn in the microwave as directed
then put the popcorn in a large bowl and
while the popcorn is still hot just top with the chocolate chips the chocolate
will melt and the popcorn turns into chocolaty goodness ) and of course pizza,
what is a party without pizza?
The kids were able to watch two
of the Littlest Pet Shop, Blythe’s Big Adventure, part 1 and 2. The show was cute, and the kids loved it. My
daughter just loved the little hedgehog, saying it was adorable, and made the
cutest noises!
After the shows were over we had
a little fashion show, my daughter has so many paly dresses so they were great
for the show. They also dolled up with some costume jewelry and we had music
and a make shift runway. The girls had a blast dressing up and being glamorous
for the fashion show.
A party needs party favors
right? Well the kids were each treated to a Littlest Pet Shop mask, a comb with
mirror and a lip balm. The kids just loved wearing the cute masks. The little
fashionistas loved putting on their lipstick (the lip balm) and combing their
har with the mirrored combs they were ready to shine! Each girl had a great
time, and they cannot want for the next episode. And of course my daughter is
now asking for a Blythe doll for Christmas, so Blythe can play with the Little
Pet Shop critter she already has, well maybe Santa will bring her one if she is
a good girl.
I am sure this is going to be a
hit, the little girls at the party just loved the new show, and I am sure they
will be watching it each Saturday.
So make sure to check out TheHub TV network on Saturdays at 11am EST/8am PST and see for yourself. For
