My daughter has been waiting for this movie for a long time, she just loves Ice Age and so do I so we could not wait to see this great family film.

Our Take:

It is rare that my daughter and I get to watch the big screen TV with just mommy and daughter, my husband went out with some friends last Friday and I thought what a great chance this would be to have a mommy and daughter movie night! My daughter is getting so big so fast, I can’t believe she is almost eight years old where did the time go? Well it sure flew by fast.

I popped some popcorn and we snuggled under our warm blanket and we watched Ice Age Continental Drift. My daughter and I love it!  I have seen each of the Ice Age movies, and this was my favorites. I loved the pirates, they were zany and wild fun characters.  I thought Wanda Skyes as Granny stole that show! Each scene she was in was hilarious.. and you have to see her per precious, or does he not exist?  I loved the addition of the new characters, Jennifer Lopez as the tiger Shira was a great character. My daughter being the girly girl she is, she loved that there was a new girl character, and of course Shira became her favorite character.

So will Manny and the gang be able to get back to their family and escape the pirates? Well I am not going to spoil it make sure to pick this movie up. This would make a great stocking stuffer for that special someone on your holiday gift list this year.
