Are there any better treats than cookies? To me there is
nothing better than eating a freshly bakes cookie with a glass of cold milk..
Cookies are the ultimate comfort food, especially when they are homemade with
care. But some folks just do not have the time to make the cookies, but you
should not have to just buy store bought prepackaged cookies, there is a better
way! A great company called Country Cupboard Cookies has the homemade cookies
you have been craving. Here is a little more information about the company from
the website:
Looking to order cookie gifts for a unique sweet treat? Maybe a cookie delivery full of freshly baked delectable goodies, like Chocolate Chip Cookies, for a Happy Birthday gift? I was very fortunate
to be able to try a variety of flavors of Country Cupboard Cookies including:
Chocolate Chip
Gingerspice
Oatmeal Walnut raisin
Cranberry White Chocolate
Double Chocolate Fudge
The package arrived wonderfully packed. The box was nicely
decorated and it is ready for gift giving. It had a lovely colorful ribbon
decoration that really stood out and looked great. But how do the cookies
taste? Are they really homemade tasting?
My family had the wonderful task of tasting each cookie, it
is a tough job but someone has to do it : ) What a great selection, we were
able to try the Chocolate Chip, now this was one of the best cookies ever. Just
the right amount of chocolate chips and sweet cookie. The chocolate chip was my husband’s favorite
cookie, he loves snickerdoodles and the Country Cupboard cookie company sells those
as well… That would be a great stocking stuffer for him, I am sure he would
just love that for the holiday.
The next cookie, the Gingerspice
cookie just says the holidays to me it made me feel like I was baking with my
grandmother, she would make Gingerspice cookies when I was little and it
brought me back, it was very good.
Oatmeal Walnut Raisin, this cookie was unique and sweet. I
could taste the cinnamon, and the walnut chunks were just the right size, just
like my grandmother’s cookies.
Cranberry White Chocolate, was my absolute favorite, the
cranberries were tart, the white chocolate was sweet, a match made in heaven.
Double Chocolate Fudge, wow this is for you chocoholics,
this was a chocolate overload but in a good way. The chocolate super fan in our
house (my daughter) just loved this cookie. It was soft and with a chocolate
cookie, with chocolate chips you just can’t go wrong. My daughter devowered the
cookies and asked for more.
Overall all of the cookies were so very good. I love to
bake, but for some reason my cookies never turn out to be soft and not burnt.
So these were so much better than homemade to me, just wonderful.
