Being huge Disney fans (couldn’t you tell?) I was so excited
to hear the Ready Pac was coming out with a new line of ready made salads and
snacks for kids (and big people who are just kids at heart). I have been a fan
of Ready Pac for many years, they have made having salads in my home so much
quicker and easier. Being a working mom, all of the time I can save making
dinner is more time I can spend with my daughter, and that is priceless to me.
I am always trying to get my daughter to eat her veggies,
and surprisingly she likes salads so these meals are so wonderful for her. They will be a great addition to her school lunches, no more
endless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for her that is for sure.
Her favorite so far of all the great meals we tried was the
Taco Salad, that featured Mater from Cars, this salad had fresh lettuce, Roasted corn, black beans chicken tortilla chips and ranch dressing. Each kit comes
with a fork and all you have to do is mix up the ingredients and dress the
salad then enjoy! You also get a bonus treat that kids will love! A temporary
tattoo! A mater tattoo was included in this meal, and my daughter loved this as
well she could not wait to put her tattoo on. My daughter loved the taco salad saying it was yummy she especially loved the crunchy tortilla chips crumbed in the salad.
I love the variety of these meals, there is a flavor for
every kid luckily my daughter loves most everything food wise so she loved each
of the salad flavors. When my daughter comes home from school she is famished
(they just have an early lunch and no snack) the mini meals are just great.
They are great little snacks that will hold her over until dinner. Or for you
smaller children, they would make a great mini meal.
Dosen't this look fresh and delicious?
So if you are looking for a great quick meal idea the salad
or mini meals will be a meal that your little one will just love! Make sure to check
out the great new Disney-themed Ready Pac Cool Cuts® Salads and Cool Cuts®
Mini-Meals you kids will love the characters and the taste, and you will love
the ease and feel good about what you serve the kids.
