Being stuck in the house for a few days during hurricane Sandy,
I figured I would do some baking and what a great time to test out some great
new holiday recipes, now that it is November, the holidays will be here before
you know it, so I want to be ready and know what I will be baking for my family
events.
I stocked up on supplies and we did not lose power (thank
goodness….) so I was ready to bake. I started with a new Lucky Leaf recipe
Cherry Kuchen, which is pretty much a cherry cake. Here is the recipe:
This was a hit! Besides being very easy to make, it was a delicious cherry cake. The top was like a snickerdoodle cookie, and my husband who is a huge cinnamon fan just loved it . This is like a homemade pie, with some simple steps you can have a great holiday dessert that will impress your guests and will give you time to do other things, this holiday season.
If you
are looking for a recipe that is simple, but tastes anything but simple I would
recommend Cherry Kuchen, your family will love it.This is easy to travel with, and would be great to make and bring to your next family event.
