for you! Bill and Ted’s Excellent adventure is now available on Blu-ray!
Movie Synopsis: Keanu Reeves (The
Matrix) and Alex Winter (The Lost Boys) deliver "spirited
performances" (The Hollywood Reporter) in the original righteous comedy
about the two ditzy dudes from San Dimas, California. Also starring George
Carlin, this hysterically funny historical comedy is a "snappily
directed" (Time), "bouncy good time" (The Boston Globe) and a
party that goes on and on! Bill (Winter) and Ted (Reeves) have spent so much
time forming their rock band, The Wyld Stallyns, that they're flunking history.
Whoa, duuuude! And when Ted's dad threatens to send him away to military
school, Bill and Ted realize it could mean the most heinous end of The
Stallyns! Luckily, a guardian angel from the future, Rufus (Carlin), has come
to them with a most bodacious solution: a time-traversing phone booth to take
them into the past to learn about the world from some of history's most
influential personalities. Their journey through time turns out to be a blast...but
will they learn enough to pass their class?

approximate running time is 90 minutes.
Our Take:
Have you ever had a movie that bring you back in time, figuratively
and literally? Well this movie brings me right back to my younger days, going
to the movies with my parents and just being a kid. Have you ever wondered how it would be to
travel in time, in a phone booth? Well watch Bill and Ted you will find out
just what it is like.
I always loved George Carlin he was an amazing funny guy who
was great at everything he did. I remember seeing this movie in the theaters in
the first run, it was just too funny for me, I was a kid in grade school (boy I
am showing my age now huh?) but I still got the funny jokes! We had an old VHS
version of the film, but it was so grainy and just showing its age the Blu-ray
is amazingly clear and crisp, the right way to watch a movie. I loved when they
played Battleship with the grim reaper and he says “You’ve sunk my Battleship!”
that is classic. It is still just as funny today as it was back then! Bill and
Ted are still most excellent, that is for sure.
If you are looking for a great stocking stuffer for a kid
from the late 80’s or a kid who was not around back then they will still love
the zany Bill and Ted characters, they still hold up after all of these years
they are still a laugh riot.

I always thought Alex Winter was so cute, and my best friend liked Keanu Reeves, so that was a fun movie to watch together. I loved the cameo by Clarence Clemons, and the part with the mall was the best!
