My Review:

I was very fortunate to be able to try out these cool treats. On an idle Thursday afternoon, I was surprised with a large white box on my door step, what could this be I was not expecting anything? I opened it up for a great surprise. A box with the line of Whole Fruit smoothies, frozen and ready to eat.  Here in the northeast it is getting cooler but it is still warm enough for a great smoothie. For me anytime of the year can be smoothie time, this great treat should not be regulated to only summer months why not enjoy a little bit of summer all year long?

The flavors that we were able to try were Strawberry Banana, Pineapple Mango, and  Mixed Berry they sound delicious don’t they? We could not wait to dig in.  I saw that each serving was only 100 calories and I was intrigued, could this really be a great tasting snack that is not high in calories? Well after trying each of the flavors, I have to say yes! Oh my goodness, each were smooth and creamy and sweet (but not too sweet) the real fruit flavor really shone through.

My favorite was the Strawberry Banana, this reminded me of a smoothie I would get as a teenager when I would go see the Philadelphia Flyers play hockey at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. They had this great Strawberry Banana smoothie that I would get all the time (I am sure this shake was well over 100 calories though…) and the Whole Fruit shake brings me back to those days, it is really good.

My daughter just love the Pineapple Mango, her first she devoured with her spoon, saying this is great! And the next time she tried it, she tried it in liquid form, drinking it from a straw. We did not use the microwave technique, we just left it on the counter to let it melt.  She liked the melted version just as much as the frozen version.  The Mixed Berry is sweet and yummy, a nice treat after lunch. The packs traveled easily and I was able to pack a great treat for lunch.

These delicious smoothies are perfect for breakfast on-the-go, a healthy after-school snack, or a drinkable treat - just microwave for 20 seconds! So if you are looking for a low calorie treat that tastes fantastic frozen or as a liquid. I would recommend picking up some of the Whole Fruit smoothies. Why not have a pack in the freezer, each pack contains 4 servings so you can make sure there is always one in the freezer do when those sweet cravings come you know you have a great tasting treat that is only 100 calories waiting for you.
