When you hear the word Shutterfly
you generally think of pictures and their really cool picture books, but
something you might not think of is being able to print your own reusable bags.
We’ve all seen reusable bags in pretty much every store that sells any kind of
groceries; I love their usefulness but mostly their just generic bags with the
store logo on them. Why not make them a little more personal by putting your
picture on them!
DIY Trick-or-Treat Bags
Score loads of sweets on Halloween by
creating a customized candy sack with a photo, print or child's artwork.
We have one all set to go for Halloween, we go commando when
we go trick or treating and I bring my daughter from street to street trying to
get as much candy as possible so I need a bag that can stand up to the
challenge and the weight! A great sturdy bag from Shutterfly with Disney’s FRANKENWEENIE on the front.
We were in Target on Sunday and I noticed all they had for candy
collecting were the old plastic pumpkin heads, they bring back memories of when
I was a kid and while they’re nostalgic they suck at their job. Too small and
the plastic handle once any weight is in the pumpkin will rip apart your hands.
Our reusable bag from Shutterfly is the total opposite of those pumpkins, soft
and strong I loaded ours up with a trial batch of candy and it handled it all
in stride.
All these years we’ve been getting picture books from
Shutterfly and I realized they printed more than just picture books but I never
knew about the reusable bag and the fact that I can personalize it is really
cool. It’s the personal touches that make things nice and memorable. And who
wants a pathetic little pumpkin that can’t hold more than a few pieces of
candy?! Do the world and your kid a favor get them a reusable bag for
Halloween, you’ll be doing two things helping the environment and making
Dentist’s across the nation a little wealthier.
