Masala Pop Review (and a Giveaway)

My Review:

Last week we had the chance to see Wreck it Ralph that meant we had to go to the movies to see it, and what do you do when you go to the movie? Buy snacks! Well snacks at the movies these days are a fortune and I’m notoriously cheap my husband is the polar opposite of me but even he bristles at the idea of spending more of snacks than what we normally spend at a restaurant. That said we did make a purchase at the snack bar 2 sodas a large and a small for our daughter and my husband spent $10.50 for 2 sodas! That’s why I had Masala Pop  in my handbag.

What’s Masala Pop? One word delicious, more than one word not your standard issues popcorn. This is popcorn that thinks outside the box, this isn’t just butter or cheese this is unique, different and good. I thought with the somewhat unconventional flavors my daughter might be a little apprehensive with eating the popcorn, so I had packed a snack that went untouched because we couldn’t stop eating Savory Masala Popcorn with Papadams, the bag was finished within the first twenty minutes of the movie. The popcorn was sweet and spicy with a lentil chips, the chips were really good and a very cool touch. 

I let my daughter finish that bag and I moved onto Chai Masala with Oregon Hazelnuts. I love chai anything so the chance to try a chai flavored popcorn is an opportunity I’m not passing up and I’m glad I didn’t. This was the perfect complement to have after having a savory flavored popcorn. I shared this with my husband and all he kept saying was why can’t I buy a whole tub of this at the concession stand, this is worth the eight bucks they charge for popcorn! 

Not to be forgotten is the Tamarind Sesame with Papadams, I honestly can’t say which one I would list as my favorite, I loved them all. Sweet, savory, spicy and different, you want something different this is different and in a very good way. Stop eating boring popcorn and try something a little different you’ll be happy you did!
