The summer is here in full force here in the northeast, we just got passed a wicked heat wave of 90++ degrees for what seemed like forever! Wouldn’t a fan be great right about now? How about a fan that cools you down and also fills the room with a great scent. Something like this does not exist right? Well I am here to say this does exist! I had the chance to review the  Honeywellwith Febreze Freshness™ Cool & Refresh Fan I was so excited. I would have a cooler room, with a fresh smell, what a concept.

The scent feature is so easy to use as well, there are only three easy steps to get your room smelling great, first open the Set & Refresh Scent Cartridge Compartment, then insert the scent cartridge, then use the scent dial to choose the scent strength. Easy huh?

My Review:

 

I work in an office with a boss who likes to smoke cigars, I loathe the smell of them and he knows that and he tries to keep the smoke away from me by smoking outside but it still makes the office smell ungodly and sometimes unbearable to work in. I’ve been using what I call the best thing since deodorant for the past few weeks and it’s made work somewhat more bearable again.

When my wife showed me the fan from Honeywell  and I saw that it freshens the air as it cools me off I told her this is coming with me to work and I’ll be able to really put it through its paces. This fan is great, not only does it help keep me cool (even with air condition blasting I’m still hot) but the stale smell of a stogie is no longer harassing me as I work. The fan pumps out Febreeze scents to rid the room of unwanted odors and with a dial on top of the fan you can control how strong the scent gets pumped out of the fan. And the scents are easily replaceable so when your smell isn’t as strong as it was simply remove it and put a new scent in, it’s simple and I plan on changing my scent up from time to time as to not get tired of smelling the same scent every day.  

The fan itself is a great size for a small or medium size room, I have mine sitting right on my desk and it doesn’t take up all that much room on the desk and it’s a very quiet fan, so you won’t be distracted by the humming of it. And best of all it makes stinky offices smell nice and it keeps you cool to boot! I love a great dual purpose item!
