It is back to school time! Time to shop for some great bag to school fashion for the kids. Do your children wear uniforms, or are they free to wear whatever they choose? Well I have a great suggestion for you all, a company that has School Uniforms and cute children’s clothes at great prices, CookiesKids, and here is a little more information about the company who turned 40 years old this year.

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer and Fall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children's clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on its way.

As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.

By the late 1990's there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie's Kids. Also in the late '90s came an important addition to Cookie's Kids' inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie's Kids Inventory.

Well it is that time again clothing for the Fall for your kids, are the clothes in your children’s closets older? Are they in need of some new outfits to start the new school year? Looking for some new Fall Fashion? Well I know my daughter could use a little boost, most of her closet is hand me downs and I think she deserves to choose some of her clothing this school year.

My daughter is a dress lover, but she is also a bit of a tom boy and loves to run and jump and make a mess, and that does not really go with wearing a dress. So I love to pair dressed with leggings. And here in the northeast it gets pretty cold sometimes even in the fall so the leggings also keep her warmer. 

I loved the look of the Cherry Stix “Amble” Sweater Dress, and since purple is my daughters favorite color we went with the grey and purple striped dress. This dress also comes in blue,pink, black and white versions. And best of all they go with pretty much anything so they are a must for any bank to school wardrobe.

Dream Star “Sequin Stripe” Top, this top has a great dazzling factor. My daughter is into the bling these days, and she loves this top. I love that it is made well, and it is very soft. I do not have to worry about the “sparkle” falling off of this top with one wear. This top will stay sparking for a good long time.

 

Mad Game Basic Hoodie, this is a very soft and warm hoodie that my daughter can wear as a jacket or just as an accessory to her outfit. I signed up for the emails from the company, and I got a great coupon right away. Don’t you just love when a coupon arrives before you check out, and it is a coupon you can actually use? Well I love it! I received a coupon code for a free Hoodie with any purchase, what a great bonus.

My daughter just loves her new clothes and is looking forward to wearing them in her new school this year, Gasp! My daughter looking forward to school, now this is a nice change of pace.

I was able to wash and dry each of the items I received from Cookieskids.com and I had no issues with any item. No shrinkage or fading because these are quality items. Just because they are inexpensive does not mean that they are “cheap junky clothing that will fall apart” you really get your money’s worth at Cookies Kids. I love that the clothing is comfortable, easy on and easy off making my mornings so much easier. I know I will be back to shop some more very soon with the holidays right around the corner I loved the dress selection and I will be picking up at least one for my daughter.
