Did you know
that July is national Hot Dog month? Well I had never heard of such a thing
until recently. But it makes sense more hot dogs are eaten in July than any
other month (July 4th anyone?) But if you are gluten free having hot
dogs with the buns may be a thing of the past, well not anymore, I would love
to introduce you all to a great gluten free company Udi’s Gluten Free. Here is
a little information about Udi’s from the website:
Udi’s Gluten Free Foods, the #1
gluten free baked goods brand, revolutionized the category when it introduced
the first gluten-free bread that tastes and looks like “real” bread. Udi's
products contain no artificial ingredients, no GMOs and very few preservatives.
My family and I were very
fortunate to be able to try an assortment of products from Udi’s Gluten Free
Foods, including:
Udi’s Hot Dog Buns- We love hot dogs,
and we eat them all year round but we do eat more in July, so I now understand
why July is National Hot Dog Month, I love to spice up my hot dogs by topping
them with a pepper spread (this is usually used on hoagies) this gives the
hotdog a kick, and there is no need for mustard. My daughter just loves to add,
mustard and ketchup. And my husband is a spicy mustard and relish on his hot
dog kind of guy.
We loved the Udi’s Hot Dog Buns,
they were soft and flavorful. I have tried gluten free buns before, and they
were try as the Sahara, but not Udi’s.
Udi’s Gluten Free Hamburger Buns –
these buns were also soft and tasty, we used them for some sloppy joes!
Udi’s Gluten Free Whole Grain
Hamburger Buns, theses buns were tasty and I loved that they were full of whole
grains and better for my daughter, and she could not tell the difference, and
loved them as well.
Udi’s Gluten Free – Dark Chocolate
Brownie Bites – now are you looking for some divine dark chocolate… dark and
delicious, well this is what you have been looking for my friend the Dark
chocolate brownie bites were amazing! They looked like little cupcakes, but
tasted like moist chocolate brownies these were a hit in my house.
Udi’s Gluten Free – Snicker Doodle
Cookies – My husband is a bit of a cinnamon fanatic and he went into trying with
a bit of hesitation… would gluten free cookies still be soft and flavorful.
Well he described the cooked as delicious, I think he liked them. I loved the
cinnamon and sugar on the top, there was just the right amount the cookie was
very good.
Udi’s Gluten Free – Oatmeal Raisin
Cookies, I loved these soft cinnamon tasting cookies, they were filled with juicy
raisins and had a nice sweet flavor.
Udi’s Gluten Free – Chocolate
Chip Cookies these were my daughters favorite, soft cookies are the best she
said. Did these chocolate chip cookies taste any different from my homemade chocolate
chip cookies, no they did not they were just as good as my cookies, and these
