to be able to review The Disney Pixie
Hollow Greenhouse from Miracle-Gro® Kids
My Review:
I have mentioned
before that I have a bit of a black thumb when it comes to plants… Opposed to a
person who does so well gardening that they are said to have a green thumb, I
do so poorly that I call myself a black thumb. It is a shame I love plants, but
it seems like I can’t keep them alive for some reason. I want to make sure my
daughter has better luck with plants when she grows up. When I found out that I
would be able to review a new product from Miracle Grow, I was so excited. My
parent have used miracle gro in their garden for as long as I can remember. I
grew up knowing it was a quality product.
And today Miracle
Gro has a new line of items made for the younger set. The greenhouses have
great Disney characters and you know I love that. There are kits that would be
great for boys and girls. My daughter is a huge fairy fan, so of course my
daughter loved Tinkerbelle and the fairies, kit includes, Miracle Gro Pod Pixie
Hallow Potting system and potting soil, Tinkerbelle and fairy friends Embellishments,
and Quick sprouting flower seeds. My
daughter had fun getting the kit ready with mommy, it was nice to see her
slowing down and taking care of the soil and getting it ready for the seeds.
The quick sprouting seeds were easy to plant, and they are true to their word,
very soon later they started to sprout. My daughter got a little confused
though…. She thought because they were “quick sprouting” they would sprout
within minutes… they were fast but not that fast.. She is such a funny kid.
The directions are
very easy just add miracle-gro to bowl then add water. The soil expands then
add it to cups provided. Now plant the seeds and cover it. Make sure to mark the cup with a fairy and
place your greenhouse near a window. We do not have large windows in our house,
but the small window in the kitchen worked just fine. So when did they sprout
in just about a week, that is pretty fast for seeds.
I love that my
daughter cares so much for her greenhouse, she has really taken to gardening
and it sweet to see, she is always making sure the plants have their water, and
I am sure they will be a lovely full garden before you know it. The price for this kit is $12.99, I think that
is a great deal, your kids will love it, I know my daughter did. She is going
to have a green thumb I know it!
