Day One at the Digital Family Summit in Philadelphia

I had the privilege of going to my first conference this past weekend. The Digital Family Summit. It was a weekend long even where families could come and learn about blogging together. This was great for tweens, like my daughter and older bloggers (like me). Before going to the conference, I had to wonder well what to wear? It would be about 95+ degrees in Philly and I would need something that would be comfortable and light and flowing… What to wear?

My favorite dress company Karina, was the answer. I wore the Gala style wrap dress (I paired this with a camisole underneath) , I love the ease of the dress and since the summit would be 12 hours each day, I would have to be comfortable and be able to make it through the day without changing. And this was the perfect conference wear! The first day of the Digital Family Summit, was a great time to mingle and meet other bloggers, a great welcome reception and a keynote speaker, who helped us learn what our thing is exactly? And before you knew it, it was time for the Just Dance! Desert party, and what is a conference without a party? Well this was a great one…

I was able to meet so many great bloggers, that I am sure we will all stay in touch it was really a great way to get together, and meet companies and fellow bloggers.

There was something odd that happened to me at the conference when I wore this dress…  a women attending the event actual chased after me to tell me she loved my dress.. No lie.. It was a little weird but she felt that she just had to tell me this and ask me where I got the dress. It was something like you see on a commercial, not in real life right?
