Are you looking for a fun game to play with the whole family this summer? Well I would recommend the new Brave: The Video Game on Nintendo Wii (this is also available for the DS) it is full of fun and great graphics. True Merida fans will love this game, and if you are a fan of the Disney games you will soon be a fan of Brave as well.
One thing we’ve gotten used to when a new movie for kids hits theaters is the accompanying video games and with the release of Brave a few weeks ago we weren’t surprised to see Brave video games on shelves. And we weren’t surprised when our daughter wanted a copy because she quickly fell in love with Merida and her independent streak. She’s a princess who is able to hold her own and my daughter loves that because as quickly as she wants to play house with me she wants to wrestle or have a sword fight with her father. She loves all the Disney princesses but Merida scratches her where she itches.
We were glad to see that she didn’t tear through the game in a day, she’s been playing for a while now and she is finally getting close to the end so it has provided her a bit of a challenge. You have your share of action with Merida’s bow and arrows coming into play but you also have to solve puzzles meaning your kids will have to use their noodles a bit to be able to finish the game. And the one aspect my daughter really loves is that she can play as the triplets; she loves the triplets and gets frustrated when my husband keeps asking her which one is which.

“They’re triplets! They’re all the
same!” she snarks back at him. They love to torture each other. And it should
come as no surprise that the game looks great, they captured the lush look of
Scotland and the characters themselves look really good. All in all my daughter
gave Brave a thumbs up and who am I to disagree with a 7 year old who knows it
all?

Saw this one your blog and we have to get this game. My son and all his friends are into everything brave.
My kids are the world's biggest Disney fans (both movies and video games) and they’ve played each and every single one of ‘em! I wish I could just go out and buy a copy of the game, but don’t have that kind of cash at the moment so I did have to add it to my Blockbuster@Home video game queue. I found out about Blockbuster because I work for Dish and mostly I use it to rent games, but when I started using it I found that I could also rent the movies for the kids too. Check it out!
