Our Take:
Most movie based games are less than stellar, they’re just
not well thought out and aren’t very good. This isn’t the case with Ice Age:
Continental Drift that we have for our Xbox 360. This game really gets you
going with the Kinect and isn’t just some poorly thought out game with some
Kinect features here and there you need to have a Kinect to be able to play the
game, meaning that the developers actually had to develop the game to make it
work.
We have all been having fun with it, sure it’s a kid’s movie
but the games on the Kinect kind of blur the line between kids and grownup. Who
doesn’t enjoy jumping and running in place to make Sid ski? The games inside
the game itself are so much fun and we have such a good time playing them and
laughing at each other trying to not smash into things while skiing downhill.
It has become a regular rotation game on our family game night and we have a
really good time playing and if you want a game that really lets you use the
Kinect to its fullest this is the game for you.
