Sleep Number m7 Memory Foam Mattress, the bed of your dreams! #Sleepnumber

 

We recently had the opportunity to say goodbye to our old bed and hello to a Sleep Number M7 bed  and in the past couple of weeks we had this fantastic bed it totally changed the way we sleep for the better. It all started when we took a trip to the Deptford mall for a fitting of sorts to be given the tour of the bed before we actually received it just so we had a working knowledge of the bed and not only did we learn a lot about the M7 but we found out that the salespeople at Sleep Number are really helpful and nice to the point that we got to talking about our upcoming trip to Disney World and the next thing we know an hour had almost passed it was like talking to old friends.

Going into it I was a little hesitant that one of us wouldn’t like the bed or something would be off, after our lesson on the bed I couldn’t wait for our bed to arrive! I had a hard time getting my husband (at that time 25) to want to leave the store once he got his number he was so relaxed he was ready to take a nap in the middle of the store. What better way to promote how comfortable a bed is….have a sleeping man in the middle of your store! We left the store feeling confident that this bed would be the best thing for us and were excited for it to arrive. All we had to do now is wait for our delivery and that came a few days after we returned home from WDW, it stinks having to come home from vacation but when you’re getting something a cool as a Sleep Number it kind of makes leaving WDW a little easier.

We we’re given a window for our delivery that was between 2:30 and 6:30 but knowing how things always work out for us I didn’t expect it any time before 6! And I was right, but what I didn’t anticipate was how quickly the delivery men set the bed up. It took them longer to get our old bed out of the house then it did to put our new bed together. The coolest part of the new bed is that a queen size bed was delivered in a couple of boxes! This isn’t a traditional bed in any way shape or form and that right there should let you know that. Our delivery men were great, they were nice and very helpful, any questions I had they were able to answer and within 20 minutes our bed was ready and we were given a heads up by the delivery guys that the number we found in the store might not be the number we’d wind up with and they were right. In the store we were both comfortable at 25 so that’s what we set our numbers to for our first night’s sleep on our new bed.

My first reaction to sleeping in the Sleep Number was great, it took a while to get used to having a bed conform to me, with the Sleep Number system the bed conforms to you and your needs instead of you having to try and get comfortable. My husband on the other hand wasn’t so lucky with night number one, his initial number of 25 was set with him lying on his back and he’s a stomach sleeper and we later learned that there is a difference when you sleep on your stomach and not your back. The next night we both made adjustments I’m now at a 35 and my husband is at 40 and we’re sleeping so peaceful and relaxed that it’s really hard to get out of bed in the morning. And if you’re wondering about how the bed keeps your sides separate from each other there is a foam center that divided the bed so you do have your own side.

The thing that took us the most time learning how to do was getting out of bed! If you sleep with your bed set at 100 you won’t have any issues getting out of bed but when you have numbers like 25-30-35 your sleeping in a bed that forms to you so the bed isn’t a high as a regular bed so when you roll out you kind of have to learn how to do it, it’s easy now for us to get out of bed but when we first had the bed it took us a day or so to learn how to get out easily. It was a hoot watching each other try to perfect the art of rolling and standing!

The bed itself is amazing with the memory foam it really does a masterful job of making your bed very personal. A traditional mattress can’t really conform to you and your specific needs, for instance a traditional mattress really doesn’t support your lower back if you’re a back sleeper which I am, the Sleep Number bed actually conforms to your shape so well that you can feel the bed as it’s getting to your number wrap around you and you can feel the support in your lower back instantly. I no longer toss and turn to get comfortable, I get into bed and within minutes I’m asleep in peaceful slumber.



 My husband is the same way once we played around with the numbers while he was on his stomach and found his sweet spot sleep is deep and peaceful for him now. On top of all the great features of the M7 series Bed from Sleep Number is the Cool Fit foam, this isn’t just regular memory foam this foam remains cool so you’re always comfortable and it stops you from waking up in the middle of the night sweaty. This is great for my husband who is always hot and would wake up from time to time because he couldn’t get comfortable. Those days are gone and we’re grateful to have such a wonderful bed, our old bed was great but it was showing its age and you could feel some spots where the springs were more prominent than in other spots.

With the Sleep Number bed you’ll never have to worry about springs poking you  because there are none, and no more having to flip the mattress which is a great thing because our old mattress weighed a ton and was a task and a half to flip. The Sleep Number beds weight is a lot less than a traditional spring bed you can pick the bed up with one hand so making the bed is a lot easier too. Everything on the bed is easy to replace if needed which means this bed is a bed that you could conceivably keep for years upon years without ever losing integrity in the bed.

We have had the bed for about 2 weeks, and we couldn’t be happier with our bed it has changed our sleeping ways for the best the better you sleep the more productive you are, this bed is a life changer we sleep better and in turn feel better and that makes this bed worth its weight in gold. I highly recommend Sleep Number from top to bottom this whole experience has been great and we’re grateful to have been given this opportunity.
