My Review:

So I know what you are thinking, how does a city girl become a horse lover? Well my love of horses started when I was very young,  I went to a summer camp they had a large stable full of horses. I was able to ride every day through that summer, they are memories that I treasure and I still go riding when I can. It isn’t easy but when we are in upstate PA I try to get in a ride or two.  When I heard there was a company that donated 100% of the profits to horses in need, I loved the idea. I was very fortunate to be able to review two bags from PonyUp Kentucky, a large hobo and a petite hobo.

I was very lucky to be able to review a Merry Me Equestrian Hobo and a petite hobo bag. My bag strap was engraved with PonyUP! Kentucky.

I just loved the blue and white on the Merry Me Equestrian Hobo, it is just so classic and pretty. For me this is the ultimate summer bag, the light colors go with just about everything. I packed all of necessities in this purse with ease. The bag itself is a nice size. I packed this as my purse for work and everyone at work just loved my new purse, and when I explained how the purchases of purses like this go to help needy horses, they were touched.  The strap was  designed with a horse halter in mind so this means the strap is sturdy and quality.

I was also able to try out a petite hobo, this was a lovely mint color, and it made a great weekend bag. I was able to switch the straps easily from the larger hobo bag to the petite hobo bag. I just shortened the strap a  bit to my linking and put some of my essentials in the smaller bag and I was ready for the weekend. This smaller bag would be great for travel too. I will be bringing this great bag with us on our next trip to Disney World. It is the perfect size to travel with around the parks, small but big enough for the essentials (sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.).

You can purchase a great Leather Shoulder Strap, that will work with your PonyUP! Kentucky bags, this strap will work with the full size hobo bags and the petite bags. So if you would like to buy another bag, you can just buy the bag not the strap, you can interchange your first strap with the other bags.

And boy is this strap heavy duty! This strap is made from a genuine leather horse halter, featuring a single personalized brass nameplate that is fitted with the traditional brass buckles and brass swivel snaps on each side. The strap can be adjusted via the five hole punches on the strap. The smallest the strap can be is 22 inches, and it can extend up to 30 inches. So if you like a smaller or larger strap you are covered.  As mentioned each strap includes a brass nameplate, you could have your name engraved, or whatever you want, as long as it is 20 characters.
