This week I begin training to be able to do another
co-workers job to be well-rounded in my office. This is all well and good but I
do have one issue…my hand writing isn’t all that great and needing to take
notes and not wanting to ask people to repeat themselves or talk slower I’m
using my Olympus VN-8100PC recorder
This has become a valuable tool for me to be able to get all
the information that is being given to me and for me to be able to go back and reference
it later and not have to try and figure out what I wrote and have pages and
pages of notes.
Being able to record everything is easier and neater and has made what it a tough task in learning a new position become just a little bit easier. With 2 gigs of memory I can record upwards of 840 hours on this recorder! The battery life is outstanding, the average life span of the batteries is 51 hours, that’s remarkable and makes this recorder an essential weapon to have in your arsenal especially if you’re a student. I’m getting all kinds of use in an office setting; I would have loved to have this when I was in college and having to write copious amounts of notes on a daily basis with my chicken scratch.
