Breadwinner, review (And a Giveaway)

 

When you normally talk about breadwinner’s you’re referring to who makes the most money in your house. When I talk about Breadwinner I’m talking about the best bread I’ve ever eaten! I’m not even sure you can call it bread, if you tried to put toppings on this bread you’d sully the good name and taste of this amazing loaf shaped product.

It is cakelike bread and wickedly good cakelike bread at that, it’s just not round, it’s loafy and we’re ok with that because the flavor is so wonderfully good it should be outlawed. The “bread” we had the pleasure of trying was “Frankly My Dear I Don’t Give a Cran” which is cranberry/orange bread and “Be Still My Beating Tart” blueberry/lemon.

For the record my husband isn’t a fan of oranges, the smell and taste is something he’s not a fan of and I’m being 100% honest when I say he’s absolutely nuts about the cranberry/orange bread! I picked that for me and for the sake of science he felt he needed to sample a piece and to my amazement we wiped out half a loaf before I knew it! That’s all you need to know about how good that bread is, it turned a staunch orange hater into an orange supporter.

The lemon/blueberry which is delicious you know right away why it’s breadwinner. The lemon and blueberry flavors work so well together and there is no shortage of blueberries in this bread it’s loaded with blueberries! This was the flavor I chose for my husband since he loves pretty much anything lemon and I thought this would be a hit with him and I was right. He’s been wandering back and forth from the living room to the kitchen and he’s always munching on a piece of bread and muttering that his shorts aren’t going to fit because he can’t keep his hands off of the bread.
 

So I tell him I’ll bring it to work and share it with everyone to let them enjoy it and to keep him slim and he threatened me with divorce if I did that! These two delicious loaves of bread have made us fans, so much so that my husband is planning on purchasing bread to sample the other flavors from Breadwinner the pumpkin and banana breads have his name written all over them. If you want a treat a really good, really flavorful, really the best bread you’ll ever taste kind of treat go to Breadwinners and buy a loaf of the best bread you will ever taste.
