Gadgets, being a busy mom I’m into them, it comes natural to us. So when the chance to kick the tires of a GoFlex came up I jumped at the opportunity. What this cool little gadget did for me was make it easy for me when I went out and bought my new iPad, rather than having to buy the big 64 gig iPad and fork over a ton of cash I was able to go on the cheap and get the 16 gig one because I have an ace in the hole.

As a chief home officer, I am in charge of the portable entertainment for everybody. With everybody using different gadgets, I needed a simple way to organize our media.

The GoFlex makes gadget life simple. We have iPhones, and iPads, my wife uses an iPod and I use a Zune they all have a certain amount of space and constantly having to switch out songs and movies is my job and it’s a job I’m not real fond of because it’s a pain.

The GoFlex is the medicine for my pain, what the GoFlex does for me is allows me to store movies, music, pictures and documents on it and wirelessly transmit them to our various gadgets, 8 gadgets at the same time to be exact! Up to 8 gadgets doing various things is amazing. I can watch a movie; my daughter can watch a totally different movie and my wife can be listening to music all at the same time. That’s simply amazing. And with 500 gigs of storage I’ll be hard pressed to fill it up, I’ll try believe me but that’s a lot of space!

The battery life is about 7 hours and that’s more than enough I spent the better part of Sunday playing around with it and the battery wasn’t an issue, we leave for Disney World in 10 days and that gets me geeked up but being able to take along my new Goflex storage unit is really going to make the trip that much more fun! So if you’re like me and enjoy gadgets but hate having to worry about space and want something that makes storage simple get a GoFlex and make your gadget life simple.
