Kit Cat Clock An American Classic!

 

Did you know that the Kit Cat clock has been around for over 80 years?  This cute little critter had been keeping time with his moving eyes and wagging tail since 1932.

My Review:

I was very fortunate to be able to review a classic black Kit-Cat Clock and a new greeting card from Kit-Cat, which embodies the meaning behind giving or receiving a Kit-Cat Clock

The Kit-Cat clock, when I think of it I think of mom and apple pie, it is just as iconic to me as those great American items. The Kit-Cat Clock is still American made, it is made in California. It is something that makes me think of the past, and think of happy things.  This is something I have always wanted, since I was a kid, we just never had one. When I heard I would be able to review a Kit-Cat Clock, I was so excited.  We would finally have a Kit-Cat Clock that my family could enjoy. I told my daughter about the clock, and then she was excited too. When the clock arrived, I could not wait to open it and put it up of course. I would have that classic kitchen I have always wanted.

The Kit-Cat Clock was just as cute as I imagined, we opened the box right away all we had to do was put in two C batteries and attach the tail and we were off, we just had to hang our new little buddy. We decided to hang this in a prominent place in the kitchen so everyone who entered the kitchen would be able to enjoy the cat and smile.

They have other color Kit-Cat Clocks as well, they have a rainbow of colors available. And of course when my daughter  found out they have a pink one, a lady no less (the lady has eye lashes, and pearls! Very cute. She asked for one for her room (this gives me a great birthday gift idea). She just loves that  clock, with its cute tail wagging and eyes looking around. It is a great addition to your kitchen, or office or just any room where a clock could be used, this will always make you smile, it sure makes me smile each time I see it.

I was also able to review a greeting card that is available on the site. I love the card, it is so nice! It is a nice quality paper stock, and it would go wonderfully if you are giving this clock as a gift.

On the front of the card it says: You bring out the smile in me.

The card has a lovely saying inside: “Every time you look at Kit-Cat, let your smile remember that you are special to me.

 

Wow! Make sure to check out this great video, it is of the world’s largest Kit-Cat clock on Route 66. And no this is not a size you can buy. This will not fit in my house, ha ha.

As a classic item, this is still so very popular, here is a fun fact, every 3 minutes for the past 80 years, someone has purchased a Kit-Cat Clock! Now that is a lot of clocks.  If you are looking for a unique gift that will make that special someone smile, and they will have it for years to come I would recommend a Kit-Cat clock, it is wonderful now I know why this little guy has been around for over 80years, it is a quality product that is loved, I am sure it will be around for another 80+ years!
