Spring is here, and you know what that means, swimsuit season is almost here! Summer is just around the corner, it will be here before you know it, are you ready do you have a great swimsuit? No?? After becoming thoroughly discouraged every season as I searched for the perfect swimsuit, I decided  that it didn't exist.  I was frustrated with expensive prices, wrong fits and the hassle of searching online for hours.  Having some sewing experience, the thought came to mind, "Why don't I make my own swimsuit?"

After a lot of trial and error, I was finally able to sew swimsuits that were comfortable, stylish and flattering.  I began making swimsuits for friends and family and soon the word started spreading. I sold hand-made women's swimsuits for two years and received an overwhelmingly positive response.  I gained priceless knowledge as I personally fit hundreds of women.  I was able to discover their needs, wants and insecurities.  With this knowledge I started designing swimsuits and now have them manufactured to keep up with demand and increase quality. I hope you enjoy wearing these swimsuits as much as I have enjoyed designing them!

Summer is here… Well almost, the days are getting warmer and warmer. Soon it will be time for days down the shore, and time to hang out at the beach.. As most of you all know, I have been on Nutrisystem for a few months now and I have lost 30+ pounds.  I have worked so very hard with my new lifestyle changes the past few months I am so happy with my weight loss, and for a chance because of my weight loss I am actually looking forward to swimsuit season. I have no reason to hide behind a tee shirt any more. And why not show up with an awesome swimsuit, to show how had I have worked? Well I was very fortunate to be able to review a great suit from Essential Swimwear.

They had so many great suits, I wanted to get them all! I had to choose one though (for now you know I will be buying another!) and I fond one that I just loved. The Ebony Ruffle Halter top, and matching Ebony Ruffle skirt. That just looked so classic, yet so stylish.

The swimsuit arrived quickly, and as soon as it arrived I could not wait to try this on. I just loved the look of this suit online, and when the suit was on I loved it just as much! The ruffles are such a nice touch, very girly yet not too much. I love the idea of the skirt bottom, it can hide any of the imperfections of my upper legs and make me feel better wearing a swimsuit. Even though I have been dieting for a while, I am still not a skinny Minnie, I have my issues still. But I have to accept, I am what I am. And I look good in this swimsuit.
