Utility costs are rising every day, and now that it is
almost summertime, oh goodness I am sure my energy bills will be very high! Just in
time for the higher prices Energizer is offering the Energizer Utility Cash program, you can collect
codes from select Energizer battery and lighting products and redeem
them online for savings, up to $25 total savings each per person/household/email
address, off your own utility bill.
You start earning rewards with just two codes and will need
10 codes total to earn the full $25. Or you can help make a positive
impact and choose to turn the codes into a donation to Habitat for Humanity®. Energizer and Habitat for
Humanity partnership is coming
to the shelves of your favorite stores. For decades Energizer has
supported organizations helping to make a positive impact in local communities
and around the world. This spring as part of the Energizer campaign—that’s
positivenergy™—they’re “building” on that commitment in a new
way through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity®.
Working with baseball legend and philanthropist Cal Ripken, Jr., Energizer is donating more than $300,000 and 1,000 volunteer hours to Habitat through a multi-city series of volunteer projects to help build new homes and revitalize existing homes for those in need.

My Review:
Batteries we all use them and need them. And the one brand
that we go to more than any other battery on the market is Energizer If you were to take down all three of our smoke detectors and look to see what
battery is powering them you’ll find Energizers. We trust Energizer and have
trusted them for years.
When we first became aware as just how good their batteries
were it was several years ago when digital cameras still used traditional batteries.
Our camera took AAs and we popped four of them in started snapping pictures and
within a few minutes of use the camera let us know our batteries were less than
half! I kid you not; the camera drained those batteries so fast it was amazing.
My husband went to Target and picked up Energizer batteries
made for high use electronic products, they were lithium and made for gadgets.
We popped those in took more pictures and didn’t have to replace them for quite
some time, I’m talking several hundred pictures worth of time. We always made
sure to have them with us when we went away we knew if we wanted reliable
batteries Energizer was and still is the way to go. Don’t trust your products
to any other battery just do yourself and your gadgets the favor and just buy
Energizer.
Make sure to get your need batteries from Energizer and save
up to get some Utility cash! The last day to redeem codes is 3/31/13 at 11:59
p.m. ET. So collect the codes now, and you can save some $$ this summer, and
you always need batteries, I know I always do.

We reduce Summer energy bills by making our own window shades, using the cooler on low, keeping as many of the lights off and eating more foods that don't need to be cooked.

I keep things unplugged when not in use, and electrical items like the stove and TV to a minimum when it's hot so it doesn't make the rooms hotter.
I save on energy by setting the air on a timer that turns the heat down while we are away all day at work
Don't turn on the AC until absolutely necessary, and then leave it set toward the higher end.
