Go crazy! No matter the mix, we know it's going to be decadent and delicious. And it's guaranteed not to be on your diet plan.

My Review:

I had the chance to put together a cookie mix from The Mason Jar Cookie Company  and as a mom, I love to make my family happy so without even telling my husband anything about what I was doing I just asked him what he would pick. Little did he know that’s what cookies we would be making! I was just hoping he wouldn’t pick anything weird.

First you start with a cookie base traditional, chocolate, peanut butter and oatmeal. Easy, I know he’s going to pick peanut butter. Wrong! He goes with traditional! Really? My husband passed on peanut butter…. This could get odd. Next step was picking an ingredient and I went through all the ingredients he had to choose from and again after seeing several of his favorites I thought I knew I’d be picking something like cinnamon toast crunch or toffee or butterscotch. Wrong again! Forgetting that he’s a child packed into a 37 year old man’s body he picked fruity pebbles and marshmallow.

I was floored, I couldn’t believe it, I know fruity pebbles are his absolute favorite cereal and have been for the past 30 odd years. That’s when I told him you know this is for making cookies? He said yes, I’ve been reading it over your shoulder! I thought he wasn’t paying attention to me because he was riding the exercise bike and watching TV! He was actually paying attention. NUTS! He then explained to me that with the pebbles and the marshmallows it’ll be like a rice krispy treat type of cookie. That actually made sense. I finished my order and a few days later “Bobby’s Special Stuff” arrived packed in a really cool mason jar all decked out with my husband’s name making him feel special.
Butter, 1 egg and a little vanilla extract are all we needed from our end everything else we needed was in the mason jar. It was simple, fun and yielded us about 29 cookies. We had so much fun making the cookies, my daughter did her part with the stirring until it got too hard for her to stir but not to worry she had enough energy left to lick her spoon!

When the cookies were done I was blown away with the flavor of them, my husband actually picked a really good combo it was like a fruity pebbles/rice krispy treat married with a great tasting cookie. If you need a special gift for someone who might be a bit of a challenge to shop for or you just want to get someone special something really cool get a jar full of cookie mix from the Mason Jar Cookie Company.

This would make an awesome Mother's Day gift as well, I know my mother would enjoy this as a gift. I will have to pick up another jar for her for her special day. And I am sure you can tell I will be picking another up for my husband for Fathers Day!
