About Amy the designer of the cards:

I’m Amy Lowry, a Vancouver based graphic designer and the shop’s owner. This shop is an expression of my love for stationery and for living the creative life. I cannot tell you how much fun I had designing each card for the shop. It reminded me of why I first took up graphic design - I got my start designing stationery for my own wedding, almost 6 years ago and from there I was hooked. Almost everything about our wedding was diy, from the favors to the stationery, to the bridesmaids jewelry and the cupcakes at the after party! When it came time to design the thank you cards for the wedding I found myself short on time – and ended up shopping for cards, but wasn’t totally happy with the selection available and the lack of customized options. Years later, I remembered this and realized that designing stationery would allow me to explore so many different styles – and to design for so many different types of people. I knew it was a perfect fit for me, and I’m excited to be embarking on a new chapter in my career as a stationery designer.

About the Cards
All of the cards are digitally printed on high quality white cardstock and professionally printed and packaged in our studio. The environment and ethical working conditions are important to us so we have chosen a supplier whose paper is manufactured in the United States, either from FSC certified forests (ensuring responsible harvesting techniques are used) or from paper that is recycled from cotton remnants. 90% of our packaging materials are made from recycled paper. All the stationery is beautifully packaged, making it a great gift item.

My Review:

Sending thank you cards is so very important to me, it just  an extra special way to chow your true thanks.  And having the option of send a custom thank you care is just that more special to send. I may be old fashioned, but a paper thank you is what I like to send. I try to teach my daughter the value of sending her thanks via cards. I was so very excited when I was contacted from Amy from the Thank You Cards Shop, I just could not wait to do a review.

The only problem I had was, there are so many great designs it took me a little while to come up with what I loved the most.  There are classic cards, cute cards, and more. The site, was easy to navigate and I was impressed with the cards I received. The cards were made well, with a great paper stock.  My daughter just loved the cute little squirrel and owl on her thank you cards, she said they “were little cuties” she is a funny kid.

There are even options of personalized thank you cards, with your family name on it or your child’s name. And why not go the extra step and put a great picture on your thank you card, that will be cherished forever. And the kids thank you card section is great, there are so many cute cards that kids will love to send.

There are even Christmas thank you cards on the site, why have I never sent thank you cards at Christmas before. It makes so much sense, I will have to do that this Christmas.  I am sure it will be appreciated by my family.
