Our Take:

We are huge fans of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson and were excited to see a film that had their collaboration. The Adventures of Tintin. With such great talent I had high hopes for this movie, and I have to say I was not disappointed.

We had a great movie kit to go along with the movie, that contained a mini globe, a compass, a magnifying glass, a stuffed Snowy and delicious chocolate coins.  

Last weekend we had a little movie night to watch, The Adventures of Tintin.

This was a nice family film that we all enjoyed, I loved the animation and the characters  we all great. Of course my daughters favorite character of the movie was Snowey. My daughter is such a fan of animals, I am sure we have a future veterinarian here.  I have to admit the dog is pretty cute, and the stuffed Snowey is adorable, he had to sit with my daughter while we watched the movie.  My husband and I liked the movie too, it was face paced and interesting, so if you are concerned with children losing interest don’t be, my daughter loved it.

I have never read the books, but after checking the books out, the animation seems to be styled after the books illustrations. I am sure my daughter will love to read the books in a few years.

If you are looking for a great family movie, this is it. This would also make a great Easter basket filler. Make sure to pick up a copy today.
