When I was sixteen years old my mother took me to the Play at a local theater in center city Philadelphia. It was simply amazing, this was the first time I have ever been to a play. And for my birthday my mother took me to a matinée at the theater. When we arrived I did not know what to expect, but from the time we sat down I was immersed in a world I would love! The play was excellent, and the music was just wonderful.
When I was younger I was Christine, and my brother was the Phantom for Halloween. (As you probably can tell my mother was a huge fan from the beginning) It was very cute but my brother cried and cried, he did not want to wear the mask! So we ended up with a phantom with no mask. Oh well, it was still a great Halloween night.
I just wish I had some pictures to share with you! But it was back in the days where we did not have a camera, and disposable cameras were king. And of course we forgot to buy a disposable camera before Halloween, well we have the memories.
When I had the chance to review The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall I was so very excited, this brought me back to when I saw the pay onstage, but this was so much more vibrant and exciting. The cast were the best of the best in my opinion. I have to say this dvd did not disappoint, this was divine. And the music, it takes your breath away it is just so beautiful, make sure to check out this clip of Sarah Brightmanand Hadley Fraser, singing - All I Ask Of You. It is simply amazing!
If you are a Phantom fan, or just a lover of plays and great music make sure to pick up this DVD. Remember pre-order your Phantom of the Opera DVD or Blu-ray this will be out on 2/7/12 This movie will also be on On Demand the same day!
