Fairy Tales Hair Care review (and a giveaway)

Are you looking for great natural hair care products for your child, how about products that help repel head lice, or to just help keep your child's hair clean and tangle free? Well I have a great company to introduce you to, Fairy Tales Hair care. Here is some more information about Fairy Tales Hair care from the website:

Created in 1999, Fairy Tales Hair Care are the creators and leaders in the lice prevention category. With cult like status, our Rosemary Repel hair care line deep cleans and conditions while preventing head lice! Organic herbs of rosemary, citronella, lavender and tea tree are just some of the great smelling natural ingredients in our products.

I was very fortunate to be able to review 3 of the items in the Fairy Tales Hair care line:

Tear Free Conditioning Shampoo- Tear Free and so mild. Loaded with Vitamins E and B to restore shine and texture while gently cleansing the hair. Safe for babies and toddlers, too!

Detangling Conditioner - A daily conditioner that cleans and moisturizes in just seconds – all with no greasy buildup. Extracts of rosemary, aloe vera, cherry bark and chamomile leave hair feeling like silk.

Static Free Leave-in Detangling Spray - One of Our Best Sellers! Static electricity no more! Rehydrates the scalp with pure vitamins and no greasy buildup. Enhances luster and pliability with aloe, rose hips, sage and Vitamin B.

My Review:

As soon as the items arrived, my daughter could not wait to try them. She is our little princess after all and she loved the castle that is on the bottle.  She called the shampoo her special “princess” shampoo. She is such a funny little kid.

My daughter loved the scent of the hair care items, and I have to say it was a nice scent. It was not a chemical scent, it was a nice sweet natural scent.  We used the shampoo, then the conditioner.

While I was combing my daughters hair (her hair is such a ball of knots, she seems to take after me with the knotty hair unfortunately) I noticed it was much easier to comb. And with the leave in condition spray this just made combing her hair so much easier. It cut out a lot of the yelling and the saying oh that hurts! My daughter usually hates having her hair combed, but she really did not give me any issues when I used these products and that is a wonderful thing! I also love that the fairy Tales products are paraben and sodium laureth sulfate free. They are made with Vitamins A,B and E and passion flower, aloe and many more natural items, what a great break from the chemical shampoos we have used in the past.

I feel very confident that my daughter hair will stay silky and shiny throughout the day because of these products. They are quality products and I would recommend them.

The dreaded four letter word… L-I-C-E! Oh yes that strikes fear in the hearts of parents everywhere.  We recently received a note that there was an outbreak of lice in my daughters school. The note advised parents to check our children’s hair for lice regularly. Well this scared me for sure. My daughter said a few kids in her class were sent home by the school nurse to seek treatment for lice. This is so scary!

There are some great lice preventing products as well, available from the Fairy Tales Hair Care Line

In our home it would be the detangler. However, instead of kids using this, it'd be my husband. He's got hair down past his waist and it's heck brushing his hair. We can never find a detangler that works.

One of my daughter's has thick hair, so I am interested in the detangler. However, the repel shampoo is probably the most important. vidomich(at)yahoo(dot)com
