I like to cook and I like to bake, I’m always baking chicken and pasta and I’ve been using a casserole dish that has seen better days but I haven’t found one that I like as much as my old casserole dish. I was recently sent a rectangular baking dish from Emile Henry  and that has now become my go to baking dish. 

This dish is a war horse as my husband likes to say, it can hold up to all the abuse you can throw at it and it keeps coming back for more and it doesn’t look worse for wear. It can go from freezer to over, scratch resistant, shock resistant and it is easy to clean, what else could I want from a baking/casserole dish? They only thing it doesn’t do is cook for me! 

With the holidays soon upon us I will be making dishes to bring along with us and I will be using my baking dish from Emile Henry, I’ve been in charge of making the green bean casserole and I’ve made it in my old beaten to death baking pan and it just looked bad sitting there on a nicely set table, it was stained and chipped and no matter what we did to it we couldn’t get it cleaner looking. I won’t be embarrassed to put this dish out on the table this year, my food will look just as good as it tastes!
