Modbe was founded in 2005.  The company quickly became known as a leader in the modest fashion industry, carrying basic layering t-shirts, tops, skirts and denim, with a particular strength in the swimwear category.  Modbe's distribution was historically centered around the home party sales channel, and they offered their products exclusively through Modbe Fashion Consultants. 

DownEast Outfitters acquired the Modbe brand in early 2010 after the original Modbe clothing company went out of business. DownEast relaunched the Modbe website in April 2010 , relaunching the Modbe website with a focus on swimwear.  DownEast plans to expand the Modbe line targeting late Fall 2010 with a commitment to the original Modbe traditions of high quality and modest styles at attractive pricepoints. 

 My Review:

I was so excited when I had the chance to do a review of an item from Modbe. They have so many beautiful fashionable clothing items, I took a while to make up my mind. I loved so many things on the site including:

But I finally came up with my favorite item:

Cute Curves Dress--Viridian Green

• Short raglan sleeve dress with double elastic detail around waist
• Rayon/spandex

• XXS-XXL

When this dress arrived, I could not wait to put it on. It is such a soft stretchable material. The Viridian Green is such a awesome color you just have to see it in person to appreciate this lovely color that would work great with any season.  The dress hugs me in all of the right places.

Being a working mother this dress is great for me the dress will be perfect for work. The dress is very comfortable I could work all day in comfort. After work, this is not the type of dress you have to get out of as soon as you get home. I admit it I am one of those people that as soon as I get home I go right to change into my sweats for comfort. With the cute curves dress, changing into sweats is not necessary it is really that comfortable. I can go home after work, and actually look nice for the night… just because. My husband sure loves that. I am able to wear this dress on the weekends as well, it is great dressed up or dressed down. Since it is getting colder I am able to pair the dress with a cute sweater and I will be able to wear this for the colder months.  

I can't wait until our next trip to Disney, this will surely be brought along. Not only will this pack well, it does not seem to get wrinkled easily, and that is great. This dress would be great to go to the parks during the day in flip flops, then I can dress it up with heals or sandals and a necklace, and I am ready for a fancy restaurant!
