Sarah Shaw has always had a great sense of fashion and trends. Born in New York and raised in the Bay Area, her personal style combines Upper East Side classic with Northern California eclectic. Perhaps it came naturally, as in the 1950s, both her grandmothers were prominent figures on New York’s famed Seventh Avenue.

Sarah honed her design skills while working as a costumer in the entertainment industry. During that time, she also launched a successful, made-to-order costume company, Raggs to Order, which made custom clothing for huge movies including "Out of Sight" “Windtalkers”, “Matrix 2 & 3”, and "Ocean’s 11".
Ever entrepreneurial, Sarah had long wanted to design handbags. So one day, she created an adorable pinked felt bag, and wore it everywhere she went. Soon, people were clamoring for them. Quickly, the demand from clients and stores was so great that Sarah left costuming and started Sarah Shaw Handbags, which rapidly grew, soon selling to over 600 stores nationwide.

I was lucky enough to be able to review a nesting basket set:

My Review:

Sarah Shaw, the owner of simply Sarah is the owner of a great site, I love the products on  Simply Sarah. I was able to do a review, and I jumped at the chance.   I picked the rectangular nesting baskets in the signature dot fabric. I knew this color would go in so many places in my house. I love the stylish baskets, they are cute and so very useful. I never know what to do with my remote controls, these days we have way too many remotes, and now I can pack them neatly in a stylish basket that can be put on the TV stand. Organization and style, that is great. But the nesting baskets come with three baskets what will I do with the other two? 

Well that is easy the medium basket will be used to keep my eye glasses together, to make sure they do not fall on the floor (my husband has accidentally knocked down a par and stepped on them… ack.. luckily they were able to be fixed) I currently have my glasses lined up on my night stand, how many glasses do I have you ask?… A lot. 10+ I know, I know it is a lot, but I like to have choices. While using the basket my glasses have a place, with no fear of them being knocked to the floor and stepped on. And last but not least the small basket, I will use this in my bathroom for odds and ends, I can use the liners that came with the basket to protect the basket inside from accidental spills.

the baskets come flat and are easily made into baskets, so if you would like you can store the baskets flat until you would like to use them.  I would recommend Simply Sarah’s if you are looking for stylish travel items, organizational items and more.
