My review:
We love Pasta, and all kinds of Italian food items, we were able to review a few items from Mezzetta. Mezzetta carries sauces, peppers and olives. As a working mom I am always on the go and sometimes I just have no time to cook. Last night for dinner I made a tri colored pasta with the Amatriciana- with pancetta & sautéed onions sauce, my family loved the sauce.
The pancetta in it was a great touch (for those who do not know pancetta is, an Italian bacon that is cured with salt, pepper, and other spices) it just gave it a great pop of flavor. The sauce was plentiful, the large jar was full of chunks of tomatoes and sautéed onions, I loved it, such a nice break from some sauces that taste unnatural and are plain. Not Mezzetta, it had a slightly spicy robust flavor.

My daughter was a fan of the Vermont Sharp White Cheddar Stuffed Olives, she is such a lover of olives we do not know where she gets it? The olives were large and STUFFED with cheese, there was not skimping there you could see and taste the cheese easily.
Italian Castelvetrano Whole Green Olives, was not a hit at our house though, I could not get used to the flavor. But I am going them to my mother-in-law to can appreciate them more, I am sure she will like them.
And finally the Mezetta Tri Color Roasted Bell Pepper Strips, what great tasting peppers, these would go great with a cheese steak or a roasted pork sandwich. Not only did they look good, they were full of flavor. Now I can wait to make a hot pork sandwich!
