My Review:

Soda, it’s a staple in most of our homes, but the one thing I’ve been noticing over the past couple of years is the increased cost of a 12 pack of soda. It has moved from normal to ridiculous, while at the supermarket this past Sunday I noticed a 12 pack of Pepsi and or Coke is almost six dollars now! That’s just crazy, plain crazy. Thankfully we were sent a Soda Stream (http://www.sodastreamusa.com/default.aspx) to make our own soda and sparkling water drinks from home using plain old tap water as a base.

Making the soda couldn’t be easier, set up of the Soda Stream took my husband all of a minute and less than a minute later we were drinking the cola flavored soda. And it was good, it wasn’t like the thick homemade Pepsi Marge made for Lisa in the Simpson's, this was very tasty soda. With the Soda Stream you’ll not only save money in the long run but you’ll also be helping the environment because you won’t be using bottle after bottle or can after can. You can purchase reusable bottles which is what we’re doing (we have one) that way we can have a few flavors always on hand in the fridge. My cousin was visiting and he wanted to try the "energy" soda, he loved it, he was very impressed he said his energy soda tastes the same and costs nearly $20 for a 12 pack, ack!

Back to making easy delicious soda.....

If you can follow simple instructions such as fill water to this line, fill syrup to this line push button quickly 3 times until you hear a buzz then you can make soda! It really is that simple. It’s fun, it’s easy and in the long run it will be putting more money back into our pockets which is something we like.  Soda Stream has several models to choose from, they range in price from $79.95 to $199.95 and the soda mix flavors range in price from $4.99 to $9.99. You get enough syrup per bottle to yield about 33 cans of soda, that’s almost 3 12 packs worth! Our Soda Stream is going to be used and used a lot! I will be sure to pick up some Dr Pete, and Apple mango soda, yum....
