My credentials are: a love for design, a passion for fabric, the school of hard knocks, 15 years of sewing experience and blood,sweat and tears. (But none on the purses.)
My designs are: washable, practical, functional, adorable and unique. They are also: handmade, not perfect, but as close to perfect as they can humanly get.

Introducing the Melanie Bag! This shoulder bag is perfect for the girl who carries everything with her. The shape of this bag is sweet, complete with 4 pleats and a wide shoulder strap. The zippered pocket on the interior of the bag is perfect for your cell phone, lipstick, etc... A newly added feature is the lobster clasp for your keys. This handy detail is sewn right into the seam of the lining, making it super easy to find your keys.The magnetic snap closure completes the design.

This bag was made from a retro cotton, featuring a magenta/white flower print. So cool! It was lined with a darker magenta floral that compliments the exterior of the bag perfectly.

The Melanie measures 17.5 inches at it's widest point and 11 inches at the top. The strap measures 19.5 inches.


My Review:

I carry a bag with me to work every day, along with my purse, I have to be able to bring my personal items and I need a separate bag to carry my book and my water. Well not anymore with my Melanie Bag from Hands Full Creations I can have it all in one bag, and I can still be stylish.  This bag is more than just a bag it is very functional and it looks good too. The bag is very well made, she takes pride in what she does, and the quality shows.

I am looking forward to my trip to California later this month, and now I know what purse I will be using for the airport, this purse will let me carry my park passes and plane tickets with ease. I will be able to bring my personal items (wallet, phone etc.) and I will also be able to have the room to pack some snacks for my daughter. This will be a very long flight for her and with this roomy (buy not overly huge) purse, I will be able to easily bring all I need.
