I love food.  I’ve been working in restaurants and grocery stores my whole life, and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that food tastes best when it’s made with real ingredients.  That’s why I started my own company, dedicated to making wholesome, healthy snacks.  As for the name, Food Should Taste Good, it kind of wrote itself.

CEO and founder Pete Lescoe created Food Should Taste Good, Inc in 2006 with the goal of making a unique new snack with great taste, healthy ingredients, and sophisticated flavor - the qualities he is most passionate about in food. Based in Needham Heights, Massachusetts, Food Should Taste Good, Inc is a small company and growing fast.

With a brand name that says it all, Food Should Taste Good chips are made from the highest quality, all-natural ingredients baked into the chips. All chip varieties are gluten free, cholesterol free, have no trans fats and do not use genetically modified ingredients (GMOs). They are also certified Kosher, low in sodium and are a good source of dietary fiber. The chips combine the crunchiness of a chip, the crispiness of a cracker, and the dippability of a tortilla chip.

I was lucky enough to be able to try 5 delicious flavors:

The Works: The chip version of a loaded bagel, chock full of flavor by way of the onion, garlic, poppy and caraway seeds packed inside. Try it as a replacement for a bagel chip at breakfast or as a pre-dinner treat.

Lime: Made with real lime juice, these chips are a refreshing snack for any time of the day. They are perfect on their own and a great addition to any dip, especially guacamole!

Cheddar: A healthy yet delicious alternative for cheese cravings, these chips offer a smooth, rich flavor made from all natural cheddar cheese.

Jalapeno: Conveying the true taste of this pepper, with a clean, garden-like flavor on the first bite and a lingering hint of heat, the subtle spiciness of the Jalapeño chip elevates any salsa or queso dip.

Sweet Potato: hint of cane sugar enhances the natural nuttiness of the sweet potato in a chip that is a riff on a classic baked sweet potato.

My Review:

It’s funny, my husband was munching on chips and said these are good chips, he paused took another bite and said food should taste good! I laughed and told him that’s the name of the chips he’s eating! We’ve been munching on a few flavors of chips from Food Should Taste Good (http://www.foodshouldtastegood.com ) their name doesn’t lie.

My hubby has put away countless bags of chips in his day, he knows his chips and he really enjoyed these chips.

Not only are the chips from Food Should Taste Good well good but you can pronounce the names of the ingredients in them. They’re healthy and tasty a rare combo these days. We received lime chips, sweet potato chips, everything chips and cheddar chips. The first thing you notice is that the shapes of the chips are different from each other which are cool, but most importantly the taste is on point. The lime was limey, everything tasted like a great everything bagel, sweet potato is like a great dessert chip and cheddar tastes like a healthier cheese poof. 

I have to agree with my husband these chips are delicious, and the fact that they’re good for everyone to eat is nice. They’re vegan, kosher, gluten free, nut free and lactose free. These chips are safe for any and every one and with the multitude of flavor choices you won’t have a problem finding the flavor for you. I highly recommend these great all natural chips, you won’t be disappointed!
