Picture Keeper - Review (And a Giveaway)

Backing up my photos is so important to me.  A while back my computer died it just went to the dreaded blue screen. Ugh., It was scary sure we had some things that were lost but our pictures! My pictures! We had to have the pictures taken off the hard drive, luckily even though the computer was mostly fried, my pictures were saved. The saving of my pictures was not cheap though, but my daughters baby pictures are priceless to me. They are irreplaceable.  After this ordeal, I swore this would never happen to my pictures again.

I was lucky enough to be able to test a product called the Picture Keeper. It is such a great invention, and it is so easy to use, what the picture keeper is, it is a little USB drive that stores your photos. To use it just plug it into your computer and it will automatically find your images and it will store your photos.  You can even set up a reminder at Picture Keeper to remind you to back up your photos.  The Picture keeper I am reviewing can store up to 4000 pictures. The picture keeper is pretty smart, when you plug it in it knows to save your images, and when you use it again, it knows just to save the new images, so it does not save the same photos over and over.  Once you have your images downloaded to the Picture Keeper, bring it to your favorite drug store and print the picture off at the kiosk right from the USB drive. That is wonderful! 

No more lost memories, and near heart attacks! (When your computer dies!)The Picture Keeper is available in 4 GB, 8 GB ans 16 GB storing  4,000, 8,000,  & 16,000 pictures respectively (based on an average jpeg size of 1 million bytes per picture).  And larger sizes as well. Overall I am very impressed with the Picture Keeper, it is easy to use, not complicated at all no software to download! Anyone can do this, it is so easy. It does what it is supposed to do, save your pictures.  The Picture Keeper would make a great gift. With graduations coming up this would be a great gift! No more lost photos!
