I was given 4 flavors of Hawaiian Kettle chips to review:


Original- Real potatoes sliced slightly thinner than regular chips, then slow cooked in the old Hawaiian tradition in a select blend of oils for a crispy, crunchy potato chip with just the perfect pinch of salt. 


Sweet Maui Onion- Crispy, golden chips are cooked to perfection, and then seasoned with just the right amount of Sweet Maui onion flavor

Luau BBQ- Although the front of the bag boasts Sweet and Spicy, consumers say it’s sweet and sassy and full of detectable flavor. Try putting these chips inside your next burger for a yummy twist.

Wasabi- Discover a new world of flavor when you try these unique tasting chips which combine the zest of wasabi root with a kick of horseradish and thick sliced potato chips to create this ultimate island delight.

My Review:

Potato chips are all the same right? Wrong. I had the chance to try Hawaiian Snacks (http://hawaiianbrandsnacks.com/index.php) chips recently and was floored by the taste. These are kettle chips that are bursting in flavor. The flavor that was the clear winner in my house was the wasabi chips. They had a taste similar to the good mustard you get from the Chinese restaurants and not the stuff that comes in the packet; I’m talking about the good homemade mustard with the strong flavor.

That was just one flavor; we also had Sweet Maui Onion, Original and Luau BBQ. These are some wickedly good kettle chips, that were flavorful and crunchy just a like a potato chip is meant to be. I hate weak tasting chips, the Hawaiian Snack chips are the kind of chips that once you’re done the bag you’ll find yourself licking your fingers wishing you had more chips. If you like good kettle chips Hawaiian Snack Chips are the chips for you!
