What are Wiki Stixs made from? (from the website)

Wikki Stix are made of hand-knitting yarn enhanced with a microcrystalline food-grade, non-toxic wax, the kind used in bubble gum and lipstick. They do not contain latex, gluten, nor peanut or other nut oils or byproducts which makes them an ideal creative activity toy for children with allergies.

How do they work?

Simply stated…they stick! No glue, no paste, no mess. Just press them down with light fingertip pressure and they will adhere to almost any smooth surface. They are also easy to peel up and reposition so “mistakes” virtually disappear, which helps build self-confidence. There is no preparation, no clean-up, no mess. Press ‘em down, peel ‘em off… it’s that simple! Wikki Stix do not break or tear apart, but cut easily with scissors. They do not melt or stain.

My review:

I try to limit my daughters intake of television and video games, but that usually leads to I'm bored! And that leaves me scrambling for something for her to do that doesn't involve TV or her Wii. It's hard to keep a 6 year old occupied, it can be down right brutal! I think I found something that will keep your kids occupied and stimulate their creative sides as well.

Wikki Stixs (http://wikkistix.com/) they look and feel like a twizzler but they bend and form into just about anything your mind can come up with. What a blast we had playing with these! And the best part is they're reusable, if your child can imagine it they can make it with Wikki Stixs. The Wikki Stixs manage to stick to each other with out the use of glue or paste, it's amazing, if you make a mistake or want to change your design no worries just remove the Wikki Stix and put it where it belongs.


No fuss, no muss and best of all no mess. My daughter was occupied for well over an hour, the only thing that stopped her was bed time. She didn't go willingly:-)! She has a creative streak and we can't wait to see what her mind comes up with for the Wikki Stix. They cost $19.95 and are worth every penny, they come in a case that makes it easy for you to travel with, and we will be taking them with us to California a cross country flight we will need every stimulant possible! Thanks to Wikki Stix that flight will be a little easier now.
