Fresh – We hand-select only the finest new-harvest nuts, seeds and coconut for our butters - our almonds and walnuts are the best California has to offer

Quality – All of our nut and seed butters are hand crafted in small batches in Berkeley, CA with careful attention to detail.

Organic – We only use 100% certified Organic nuts, seeds, and coconut meat which means no toxic pesticides, chemicals, or genetically modified organisms. (Certified by QAI)

Pure – We don't add any extra ingredients. No salt, sugar, preservatives or artificial flavors - Nothing. Which means that all you get is the clean, fresh taste of nuts and seeds the way nature intended.

Raw –  The ingredients which comprise our products are raw, not roasted, and made into butter with a low temperature process. This means that all of the enzymes, proteins and vitamins are intact, in their natural state and fully utilized by the body. Heat destroys these sensitive nutrients.

My review:

My daughter is in kindergarten and for the past 8 month's has eaten a steady diet of PB&J pretty much everyday for lunch. She's grown tired of it, she requests I not make her anymore of THOSE sandwiches! Little did she know I replaced her traditional PB&J with some PB from Artisana (http://www.premierorganics.org/index.php!) I couldn't wait for her to get home from school just to see her reaction. I asked her how was lunch and she began raving about my sandwich! She hates crust, I really hate cutting the crust off the sandwich so she normally just leaves the crust behind not today! She even ate the crust of the sandwich! I was astonished, shocked and surprised. She said it was THAT good.

We were sent a bunch of different butters from Artisana ranging from cashew to almond to macadamia and even a jar of coconut butter! My daughter's new favorite was the almond, my husband latched onto the cashew butter and I'm partial to the pecan butter. These butters are delicious, they're also healthy, they're pure, raw and made with fresh ingredients. This is something you don't have to worry about eating, there's nothing in them that's bad for you, but they manage to taste like it's bad for you:-)! What a perfect combination all the taste none of the guilt.
