According to the Storybooks soaps site this is how the soaps are made:

Our Cold Process soap is handmade using the cold process method. Each batch is made from scratch using raw ingredients the old fashion way. Our bars retain their natural glycerin and each batch contains a high portion of Vegan oils. Our CP soaps are not made from a base. All our bars cure for a minimum of 4-6 weeks so they are gentle and hard.

All our soaps are vegan and we only use high quality fragrance oils.


My review:

Beware! Some of these may look tasty www.storybooksoaps.com but are in fact soap! I was floored when I opened the box to see what I honestly could pass off as a popsicle but in soap form. What a fun creative idea these are. I had the pleasure of testing a regular bar of soap (sea glass), 2 Popsicle's (fruit salad & bubblegum) and a castle (strawberry jam.) Amazing, simply amazing. Not only do these soaps smell good but they are fun and whimsical.

 
Normally we have to drag my daughter into the shower, once she saw these soaps she wanted to get washed immediately! Her only issue was what to pick, she mulled it over for a few seconds and ultimately chose the caslte and the fruit salad popsicle as she told me she has two sides of her body each one needed to be clean! Who am I to argue? I just want a pleasant smelling kid! Mommy also enjoyed the Sea Glass soap, it left me smelling good, and feeling soft and refreshed. Some of the other soap designs are donuts,legos, and a flip flop made out of soap (I hope it's not foot flavored!) These soaps would make a wonderful gift, how do I wrap soap you might ask? No worries, there are six totally cute soap holders you can choose from to make the gift just a little more special. I guarantee you will love these handmade soaps as much as we did....remember buy at least two, you have two sides remember?
