The Orange Owl Review (And a giveaway)

For every purchase made, The Orange Owl will donate 5% of the total sale to The Schooling Project. The Schooling Project provides avenues for children in India to gain financial means necessary to stay in school. I addition to basic education they also have workshops for the children to help build their confidence and explore various technical fields. 

The Orange Owl, soaps are hand cut and cured for 28 days before being ready for use. These 100% vegan products are then packaged using recycled post-consumer waste materials.

My review:

I own a lot of body wash and scrubs and various things to make me smell good, I love soaps and scrubs and body butters. I had an opportunity to try some bath products from The Orange Owl (http://www.theorangeowlshop.com,) I gotta tell you when I received the packaged I honestly thought it was empty! No way something could be in this package, it weighed less than nothing! I opened it up to discover a jar of Zingy Luxury (clove, cinnamon, pepper & ginger) just reading what it contained intrigued me! Along with the butter was a bar of Masala Chai (black pepper, cloves, ginger, lemongrass & cardamom) soap, I love chai, and when I opened the soap and smelled the aroma of the soap it put me right in the middle of the Animal Kingdom. One of our favorite things to do in the World is to buy Royal Anandapur Tea Company cart grab a spot on one of those wildly colored recycled benches and people watch while we sip on our chai tea. To say I was excited to see how these heady smells translated to my body is an understatement!

As I said before the bath butter is so light, the jar really does feel like it's empty, this is first class bath butter it goes on smooth and feels like it's melting into your skin. My skin felt rejuvenated and the smell it left in the bathroom after my shower was to die for! The same can be said about the soap, my only issue was that I didn't have a cup of chai waiting for me after my shower! The beautiful thing about the products from The Orange Owl is that everything is hand made and environmentally friendly and their prices range from $5.99 for the soap, $8.49 for the body butter, $3.49 for the lip balm and $9.99 for the bath salt. Everyone can use their products, they're chemical free and except for their lip balms are vegan friendly! Their soap even comes packed in a green package! Their products are good for the environment (inside the body butter jar is a little pack of seeds to grow your own bouquet of wild flowers!) and you! Now where's my cup of chai?
