I am very excited to announce, I am a 50 Years on Television for A Charlie Brown Christmas Brand Ambassador! I grew up watching, a Charlie Brown Christmas special.  Year after year, right around Christmas I would look forward to seeing this beloved special. From my favorite characters, to the iconic music, when I saw this special on TV I knew it was the holidays.  I love being able to share this special with my daughter each year, she seems to love A Charlie Brown Christmas as much as I do. Did you know that Coca-Cola, a CBS sponsor, was the company who commissioned A Charlie Brown Christmas? And that CBS hated it. Yes it is true! I don’t know who could hate this wonderful family show, but they were not fans.

Well my family and I are hug fans of the special, and since this is the 50^th year of the special I see that many many others all over the world love the special as well.  What would you ask the daughter of the creator of such a part of the holidays as A Charlie Brown Christmas? Well I was very fortunate to be able to chat with Jill Schulz, daughter of Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz!

I have seen the character in my daughter Lego Marvel game, and he seems pretty cool.  My family and I are huge fans of Marvel, their characters seem so real (well as real as a superhero can be…) and we are excited to see more of Ant-Man!

When I was a child I remember my great grandmother reading me many of the stories from the Brothers Grimm, these were wondrous fairy tales with a twist… Disney has a great new movie coming out on Christmas Day, Into the Woods. It looks like a creepy good movie!

“Into the Woods” is a modern twist on several of the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy)—all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife (James Corden & Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a curse on them.
