The Ely series is our elegant, small-face design. This is that kind of watch that makes you grin for no apparent reason. Light, sexy, and compact design makes this a popular, everyday watch. There are no numbers on this watch other than the date (but we'll assume you already know how to tell time).

My husband loves watches and has a large collection of them and was excited about the opportunity of getting a watch made out of wood because it's just so different than what we're used to. These aren’t your typical watches; they’re made out of wood, well the watch band and face that is, making this a very different and really unique time piece.

 The watch he received was the Ely in maple and the watch is gorgeous. It's a pretty light colored watch and is smaller than his everyday watch and is a nice change of pace for him. His normal watch is a leather cuffed watch that is big and heavy and causes his wrist to sweat, he's been wearing the Jord Ely for the past few days and has quickly fallen in love with this watch and has received a few compliments already because most people are not accustomed to seeing a watch made from wood.

Wood is a naturally beautiful thing, the color and grain are unique like a snowflake and the Jord watches showcase the wood in a beautiful way. The watch is nice, it’s different and when people take a look at his wrist they immediately do a double take and say is that really wood? It’s a conversation piece, you will get noticed wearing this watch. It’s a really top notch watch, the wood looks good and feels good on your wrist, and was easy to adjust to make it fit his wrist; it took my husband all of 2 minutes to remove a link. The watch sells for $129.00, which is a great price for such a nice looking time piece. You have many different colors to choose from and no two watches are the same, because they use wood colors might be a little different from the way they appear on their site.
