Holiday Gift Guide: Little Passport - Review

I am always looking for different and unique gifts for the holidays for my daughter. She loves to spend time on the computer, but I don’t want her to constantly go to the fluff, kids sites. You know the ones with the games that will just rot your brain? I came across this great company:

My Review:

With Little Passports, my daughter can surf the site while learning about other countries,. The people at Little Passports have come up with a great way for kids to learn about the world in such a fun way. The children  Sofia and Sam  are your guides for the many countries. Every month Sofia and Sam travel to a different country and send your child a cool package that includes a letter from Sam and Sophia describing their current county and the adventures the encounter. There are also fun souvenirs from the courtiers they have visited. And best of all each month there will be a secret code in the pack that will help you gain access to the online site full of games and activities.

My daughter loved the online games. And I loved that she could learn while she played (I am so tired of websites where you have to “hit the balloon” or something mind numbing like that) It is refreshing to have a fun site (my daughter said the site was cool, and had lots of stuff to do) where kids could have fun and be able to talk about it the next day at school, and the teacher would actually be impressed.  As an adult I loved the little kit that came with the first month. The box is reusable and keeps all of the stickers, the map, the passport, and the many other items in a safe place. I do not have to worry about finding pieces all around the house. My daughter is really taking care of the kit, she is getting so responsible. I know my little girl is growing up!

I love to travel, as you all know, and we would love to one day visit all of the great countries that Sam and Sophia get to visit, and my daughter who loves to travel like I do, she is seeing the different countries, and asking will we go there? Well I hope we can one day.

The kits are $11.95 a month, they are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time if you are not happy. But I don’t think you will have that problem.

12 month subscription is  $131.40 a $12.00 savings from the month to month 12 month subscription.
